Renowned for their sailors and warriors, the pridebloods are a noble led society where tradition and circumstances of birth are the foundation of their culture.

Queen of the pridebloods and first wife of , Serepha is the Queen Mother of the Prideblood royalty and lives a life of daily intrigue, plotting and betrayals. Experienced with the internal intrigues of court life have prepared Serepha for using her experience abroad as well, with an assortment of spies at the different courts of the realm.

First wife

In prideblood society, having a son declared the favored heir to the throne means that the mother assumes the role of Queen Mother, the domestic head of the estate. A prestigious and coveted role with a lot of power as the queen mother is to oversee the security of the estate as well as coordinating the labors of the inhabitants.
Often putting the other mothers and their children at the mercy of the queen mother, there is a constant competition for replacing the favored heir with another through whatever means necessary. As such the main role of queen mother is to safeguard her child from the internal elements seeking to change the order of things.

An agent in every court

Ever weary of elements of disloyalty and illoyal nobles, Serepha organizes a collective of spies that answer and report to her with news from the noble courts around the realms. The existence of these spies being an open secret, their identities still remains a secret. Taking positions within the different courts as cleaners, nurses and marrying into the courts as nobles, Serephas spies, though few in number, could be anyone and anywhere within the houses.

Royal mother

Maintaining the traditions of her people, Serepha knows that only Aricadons favored son will assume the crown one day. With multiple wifes constantly attempting to compete for his favor that their child be the one to succeed him, the royal home is rife with plots of sabotage, shaming and murder. Though outwardly attempting to not play favorites among the candidate children, some may question if she would assume the same stance if it wasn't currently her son being the favored one.
