Tolerant of the embers elemental radiation ceremoniously bathe their warriors in a brew of ember dust, trapping much of the residual energy in their bodies and morphing them into their famous hulking forms.
Master craftsmen and engineers discovered how to extract the energies trapped within the ember for their machinery, resulting in the creation of constructions capable of impossible feats.
A race reliant on the acquisition of ember for their species to thrive, dragonkin bathe in the radiation of ember over prolonged periods of time for their bodies to adapt to the elemental residue provided by the embers glow.
Highly responsive to the energies coming from ember, change their physiology to correspond to the elemental energies within the ember they are near. Vulnerable to radical change in the environment, the elves often seek to minimize or maximize their exposure to ember throughout their lives
Central to the way of life of so many, ember became a common commodity traded between the races of even those not receptive to the influence of ember.
Depending on the nature of its creation, the power contained within the ember varies depending on its size, age and use.

Starfall While it isn’t uncommon to find jewelry adorned with chippings or perhaps even shards, the higher ranks of ember are usually in such high demand that it would be too risky to flaunt it, much more likely to be locked away in vaults to protect them.
While chippings, shards and crystals are the refuse of Astrarius’ creation of the stars, ember cores are the stars discarded during their construction as imperfect.
The most powerful and rare of embers are known as starfall, when Astrarius in his blind rage of an imperfect star misses the sun, the discarded star will fall to Aethera as a powerful form of ember.

Astrarius, creator of the skies light, adorns the skies with his creations.
Creator of the nights stars, Astrarius works continually trying to create the perfect world, a world that will forever shine and never dim its light. Each star is an attempt at creating this perfect world, set up so Astrarius can evaluate their shine for any dimming or imperfections
Creating this light blending the elements into a perfect harmony, Astrarius grinds and chips his creations into perfection, or discarding his creation upon failure by destroying it into shards, leaving the residue to fall down to the earth in the form we know as ember.
When Astrarius is content with his work, the night sky is adorned with his work. Should a star ever fade though, then Astrarius mind will fill with rage and shame of his creation and he will throw the fading star into the sun.
Astrarius is not concerned with the happenings on Aethera, for his mind is devoted to the ideal world. What little interaction he carries with the souls of Aethera lies in the ember he lets fall down.
