Deep in their thoughts in the realm of plenty, the Rootcarver clans of Virentia build wonders across the plane seeking to show of their ability to transform nature in a constant battle of dominance against those that call the wilds their home.
The spires of their underground domains piercing through the earth, the dwarves on Virentia are among the most open and welcoming among the dwarves across the planes.
While dwarves are renowned for their reclusive and secretive nature, the Rootcarver clans stand out among their kin for their more social nature. Nurtured by a culture of showmanship that their society fosters among all the aspiring crafters, the dwarves on Virentia are always proud of showing off their creations in their full glory harvesting the resources of the lands with such efficiency that manual labor stand no chance in comparison.
With the resources of Virentia at their disposal, the dwarves of the Rootcarver clans are free to make their creations as grand as their minds ingenuity can allow for. Leading to an ever increasing race between the craftmasters of the clan, as they are in a constant state of competition with one another for who can create the greatest and splendid of creations against one another.
Often ensuring to make their creations as intricately ornate as possible, the only time you'll find their creation looking crude or worn is if their machinery has been reinforced due to multiple attacks and sabotage forcing the creator to mend the destruction with what is at hand.
Though willing to show off every aspect of their designs in motion, the contents of their schematics and elaborate designs are a closely guarded secret untli they finish their construction.
Keeping their unfinished thoughts a secret from either other dwarves that may seek to copy their designs or for hiding weaknesses from those seeking to exploit them, there isn't a single self respecting craftdwarf that doesn't write all their plans and calculations in a cryptic code best known only to themselves.
Every creation of a Rootcarver dwarf is a stepping stone to the next, better creation. Never satisfied with something when there is so much to improve, every creation for a dwarf is a one of a kind not fit for mass production.
As a means of petty rivalry, the craftdwarves of low character are known to seek ways to copy their rivals designs through mass production as a simple means of devaluing the uniqueness of the original design and often implementing flaws that might reflect poorly on the original creator.
Creating the most complex and flashy designs are therefore not only a means of showing off, but also to ensure that inferior crafters will be unable to copy the design and discredit the creation.
