While there has been humans on Nivaria since the realms tore apart, they depended heavily on the Nivalites and couldn't survive on their own after the Nivalite empire fell to ruin. Few remnants of their scattered and fragile society stretched across the lands in the ruins of the Nivalite cities or in the caves where they could find shelter from the winds sweeping the lands in time fell to the frost as well.


With the reopening of the Nivarian portal, the repopulation efforts of humans on the plane was sanctioned by the Dwarven Council. Seeking to recreate the order on the plane that the Nivalites had created so long ago, the humans of the Glacianths were chosen by the Dwarven Council for their resistance to the influence of ember, adventurous and social nature and ability to create cities in adverse conditions.




Heavily aided by their kin through the importation of tools, there is however a very stringent and limited supply permitted through the portals in order to maintain their integrity. The Glacianths are on their own and must be able to create a way of life for their needs in this realm if they are to ever prosper.

Developing their culture from the struggle that it is to survive in these lands, the Glacianths are a people unto themselves. Very communal, with a sense of duty to one another and open to interact and trade with the other societies of the land for resources, the Glacianth society has integrated well into the lands they now inhabit.
