The Nivalites that first came to Nivaria prospered well in the hostile lands, their culture spanning the entire plane and building wonders and monuments to their superiority invoking awe and admiration from the many denizens that struggled to survive in the realm alongside them. Nivaria inheriting its name from their once glorious empire.


However, a lifetime of surviving in the frozen realm has begun a change in the Nivalites. Slowly, the nature of the frost encroached into the minds of the Nivalites. With time they became cold, vicious and uncaring to even their own. A coldness began to set over the Nivalite cities, as the citizens stopped caring for one another, corruption became the norm and deaths in the street became a mundane occurance.

The very nature of which they had fought themselves the conquerers of, building towering constructions on top of in a show of victory, had instead set itself into their souls and caused them to lose their minds.

Their once prospering kingdom falling to ruin, the Nivalites today are either refugees in the cities of other races clinging to what little remains of their minds or have given in to their new nature, embracing the child winds and their frozen hearts.




Traveling the world, you will still see remains of the Nivalites sprawling culture, as if frozen in time itself and left to the elements. The cities that the Nivalites build have either fallen to ruin or have become the home of a new society, building their own legacy on top of the Nivalites.
