A Prideblood has a role in life from the day they are born. Trained in the way of their family they know what they must do and learn how to do it well throughout their life. A harmonious balance that has guided their culture since its inception.
Such dedication have lead the Pridebloods to survive the harshness of the realm well, for their society is one of harmony and order where all get rewarded for fullfilling their place.

Subsisting of fishing mostly, the Pridebloods are renowned for their sailing ability. With their accumulated knowledge about faring the seas passed down for generations, a Prideblood will never get lost and always knows the way back home no matter where he goes.


The opening of the portal wasn't too transformative to the prideblood society, though many sailing vessels became retrofitted from fishing vessels to accomodate trade with outsiders. The tools and technology of automation are of no use to the Pridebloods that see no need to replace their manual labourers with machines.


The only strata of Prideblood society that was impacted were the warriors of the lands, their numbers in their homeland were too many for the peaceful times after the exile of the orcs and their services were no longer required by the lords of the lands.
Instead offering their services as mercenaries and guards to those from beyond the portals, the Prideblood warriors are commonly found traveling around as soldiers for hire. As few Pridebloods ever leave their homeland, this has earned the entire society a reputation of being strong and stoic fighters among outsiders that have only interacted with the warriors for hire.
