An insular sect of humans that have adapted to life on Virentia through assimilating into what they deem to be the natural state by giving themselves to natures whims, the Verderas are a resilient and knowledgable people well versed in the ways of the plane.


Key to their way of life, the verderas does not permit the use of advanced technology, instead living off the land as it provides for them and being content with both plentitude and scarcity in a season. What tools the verderas allow for themselves is are only those that rely on complete manual application that they not disturb the harmony or taint their beings with seperation from their natural state.


While it is easy to discount the verderas way of life as primitive, it does protect them from the worst of the dangers through nature. Living in a near animal state has permited the verderas to blend in with the nature that the spirits of the wild doesn't perceive them as completely foreign. Though not just as the prey of nature, the verderas are not protected from ending their circle of life at the jaws of a hungry predator still.


Elder verderas that can no longer contribute to their community are exiled into the wilds with a ceremony for their departure by their community. Though few survive for long those that do can often be found to live as hermits throughout the Underbrush, providing wisdom, or madness, at any that passes by.


With the core tenets of the verderas being to oppose technology as unnatural, there are a significant amount of verderas elements that see it as their duty to oppose the encroaching exploitation of the plane with less than peaceful means. Though a minority to the common belief that peaceful lectures are the way, the more resources get extracted from the plane the more seem to join the ranks of the saboteurs.


Taking much of their wisdom directly from the spirits of the woods, the Verderas listen to their seers with extreme devotion and attention. With little room for ambiguity, the verderas follow a very cohesive belief structure that differs little between the communities.
