With the abundance of resources available on Verderas, the orcs have prospered greatly from life on the plane and are well armed and hardy against any for that may entertain them with a fight. Capable of living off the lands by themselves, none of their kin serve as dedicated farmers, hunters or gatherers.


For their entire existence on the plane, the Verderas has been dependent on struggling with the dragonkin of Verderas for the ember that the dragonkin hoards for themselves. Competing across the bogs, swamps and marshes, the orcs of the Virendar could only dream of accessing the ember from the wooded treetops unless they gain it from the dragons domiciles.


While their struggle with the dragonkin are at a stalemate, the orcs have a secret benefactor providing them with the ember necessary for them to maintain their population of warriors for constant struggle.
Though for their own ends, the orcs gladly accept the tribute they are offered as it provides ensures them the continued dominance over their own lands.


Having grown too large as a society, the orc tribes of the Virendar are in a constant squabble against their own without direction or leadership to unite them as a whole.
With a summit of the chieftains as the only uniting ceremony, the purpose of the summit is mostly a bragging contest for which tribes has erected the most and best pillars of glory across their lands.


Travelling along the trodden tracks that guide the travelers through the dense undergrowth usually carries with it the security against nature, however the orcs of the Virendar that prepare ambushes are well aware that waiting at these tracks are sure to bring targets to ambush for loot.
Well versed in trap making, fortification and camoflage, the Virendar orcs are a constant threat across the plane even far away from their native lands as they seek bounty to bring home to their tribes.
